HEIRS is an organization of volunteers passionate about researching and preserving local history. We’ve been building our library and collections for 50 years and provide resources for people to research and develop a written history of their own roots. Members receive 9 fun and informative Newsletters yearly, and we typically host 8 community meetings with speakers on a wide range of interesting topics on local history. We seek to make history a ”fun” topic. Meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of the month, September to June, (July, August & December excepted).

As our website develops, members will gain on-line access to exclusive content from our archives and collections.
