Colchester (1868-1879)

Here at HEIRS we have over 10,000 family names in our genealogical file. These files contain documents regarding births, deaths, marriages, newspaper articles, family history, family trees, and more. For many people the contents of these files reveal connections that were previously unknown.

RESOURCES

Since our founding in 1971, we have built an expansive collection of historical documents. This includes maps, photographs, public records and registers, land deeds, family name histories, and non-fiction accounts.

A significant portion of this collection includes the various family names comprising our genealogy. A great way to source information about an ancestor is to take a look at our cemetery and church records to uncover their life's journey. In addition, we also have land record documents and a large collection of photographs of families, along with local events and landmarks.

Our team of Librarians can assist with your research. Fees may apply for off-site requests which require research by our Librarians on behalf of someone else.

Our resources include: Microfilm, CDs, books, photos and more.
